On Friday, October 24, FreePower Group held the second session of its internal lecture series, titled “Trends and Challenges of Hydrogen in Chile”, presented by Ricardo Rodríguez, Director of Studies at H2Chile.

During the session, participants explored the main advancements and opportunities arising from the development of green hydrogen in Chile, as well as the economic, environmental, and regulatory impacts of the new bill aimed at promoting this strategic industry for the country’s decarbonization.

The event provided first-hand insight into H2Chile’s perspective on the role of green hydrogen in the energy transition, the current status of projects under development, and the challenges Chile faces in consolidating its regional leadership in this field. It also served as an opportunity to foster dialogue and engagement among the company’s various departments.

This initiative is part of a four-session series designed to strengthen internal knowledge on cross-cutting topics within the energy sector. The first session, “Effective Communication Skills”, inaugurated the series, while the upcoming sessions will focus on “Innovation and Digitalization in the Energy Sector” and “Current Challenges in Solar Energy and Storage.”
